RISK & REWARD EVENING

Learn how to protect your assets and maximise returns in current financial times

mCorp presents 3 industry experts from Macquarie Bank, Aviva and one of our own experienced and market savvy financial planners, together they will help to guide you safely through the haze and uncertainty of managing and protecting your funds in today’s climate.

Some say the current financial crisis happens only once in 100 years! History tells us that the markets operate in cycles and now is no different. Regardless of the fear and hype generated from the media we are simply experiencing a down turned market – and in time the tides will turn!

No matter what market condition present, we may need to adjust our strategy to suit our own personal circumstance and the underlying investment climate. Now is a time to review your position and plan for consolidation or protection. Further, you may actually be perfectly poised to take advantage of an undervalued market and in line for investment expansion.

Generate Higher Returns

Common perceptions suggest that a higher risk strategy equals greater reward. But what if you could generate higher returns while still having protection mechanisms in place? Savvy investors use creativity and experience in the market to identify niche opportunities to maximise returns while protecting their position. In this session experts from the field will share some techniques that can be used to maintain your investing in the current climate without the associated high-level risk.

The Risk & Reward evening presents three qualified experts from different areas of the financial markets to help you safely navigate your way to calmer waters. The areas covered include:

  1. Wealth management
  2. Personal Cover and Investment Protection
  3. Managed Investments

Macquarie Bank

Managing risk and reward in an investment portfolio is a key part of any long-term wealth management plan.  Learn more about an investment solution that provides you with the security of a bank deposit as well as exposure to the out-performance of the S&P/ASX 200 index at maturity.  From Macquarie on the night we have Jonathon Webster.

When it comes to protecting your family

How much protection does a family need? That's a difficult question because it depends on so many factors that can't be predicted - like how long you will live. A simple approach is to plan for the worst case scenario and decide how much money surviving family members and loved ones will need. Aviva Australia is helping mCorp Financial Solutions to deliver innovative life insurance, investments and superannuation solutions.

What is 'underinsurance'?

Underinsurance or insufficient cover could mean that you and your loved ones are inadequately protected in the event of illness, accident, disability or death. Having the appropriate level of cover can be the difference in the income you and your family have to help you maintain the lifestyle you’re accustomed to. Russell Hannah will be covering these topics on the night.
